Our website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Technical information such as IP address, request time, requested file, browser details and HTTP status may be processed to operate and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). The exact log retention period and data processing agreement must be verified against the applicable STRATO contract.

We process the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, based on Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, as applicable. We retain it only as long as necessary or required by law.

4. Remote support downloads

We provide KN remote support (TeamViewer) and pcvisit software for download. Downloading does not initiate a support session. If you run these programs, their providers and KN EDV may process personal data during a session you authorize. Only run them after arranging support with us. Please consult the respective providers' privacy notices.

5. Cookies and external content

This static website does not include a contact form, analytics, third-party web fonts or its own analytics or advertising cookies. Any technically necessary cookies set by the hosting provider should be verified on the live website.

Subject to applicable GDPR requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian Data Protection Supervisory Authority where applicable.
